Booking & appointments

When can I start using Coiffly?

The app is in testing and coming soon to the App Store and Google Play – starting in Zürich. Sign up for the launch notification and we’ll let you know when we start.

Does the hairdresser really come to me?

Yes. You can have a hairdresser come to your home, office or hotel – or book an appointment in a salon.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

With “Instant”, your request goes to hairdressers near you who are online right now – whoever confirms first comes. Or choose an appointment: a free slot with your favourite hairdresser, or a preferred time sent to everyone nearby – then you pick the best offer.

How are the hairdressers vetted?

Every hairdresser verifies with an ID and a selfie before we review and approve the profile in person. Clients rate every appointment – you see the reviews before you book.

Can I reschedule an appointment?

Yes, in the app. Coiffly reminds you 24 and 2 hours before your appointment – with “Reschedule” and “Cancel” right in the reminder.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes. Cancelling is free up to 2 hours before the appointment, after that it costs CHF 5. If your hairdresser is already on the way or there, more may apply – the app shows you the amount before you cancel. If your hairdresser is more than 15 minutes late, you cancel for free. A request nobody has accepted yet can always be withdrawn for free.

Can I book my hairdresser again?

Yes. Save them as a favourite or use “Same as last time” to book the same service with the same person again. For regular appointments, set up a series – you can move or skip single dates.

Can I book for others too?

Yes. Under “For whom?” you add kids, your partner or friends – all in one appointment, each person with their own services. For a home visit you still pay the home-visit fee only once.

Prices & payment

How much does an appointment cost?

Every hairdresser and every salon sets their own prices – as a guide: men from CHF 35, women from CHF 55, kids from CHF 20. Home visits add the home-visit fee once. “Instant at your place” has fixed prices including travel. Coiffly adds nothing on top – you always see the final price before you book.

How do I pay?

Cashless, right in the app – with card, TWINT, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You get a digital receipt instantly.

Can I leave a tip?

Yes, voluntarily after the appointment in the app. The whole tip goes to your hairdresser.

How much does the app cost?

The app is free. You only pay for your booking – no subscription.

For hairdressers & salons

I’m a hairdresser or own a salon – how do I join?

Sign up in the Coiffly app as a hairdresser or salon. After verification we review and approve your profile. Until the store launch, you can register your interest on the “For hairdressers” page.

How much do I earn?

You set your own prices. Coiffly keeps 20 % for a client’s first appointment with you and for Instant jobs, and only 5 % for regular clients – you get the whole tip. Payouts run automatically via Stripe after every completed appointment. In a salon, the split you agree with your salon also applies.

What do I need for verification?

As a hairdresser, a photo of your ID and a selfie; as a salon, your UID and an extract from the commercial register. We then review your profile in person and get back to you by email.

What do clients see about me?

Your profile with portfolio, services and reviews – and, if you like, your own page on coiffly.ch. They only see your location roughly (to about 1 km) and your phone number only in the 24 hours before a confirmed appointment.
